and by all reports was a resounding success.
It was and all Fort St John final for the berth to the Peace Curling Tour Championship (March 8-10th) in Sexsmith with Kevin Hrab’s team outlasting Jeff Holland in a nailbiter tied up coming home in the last end.
Kevin was delighted with earning the berth to the Tour Championship “I can’t heap enough praise on my teammates who had an excellent play off run over the weekend after a bit of slow start on Friday.”
Kevin was joined by Colby Coates, Ty Coates, and Michael Frykas celebrating the win and the chance in March to be “the best team in the Peace”. He added “Jeff Holland leads the Challenge Division points race and were tough opponents who played a great game.”
Three teams have already qualified for the Tour Championship by virtue of winning one of the four qualifying cash spiels and Hrab will be joined by Quinn Farmer of Dawson Creek and Kellan Warr of Grande Prairie. Eight teams qualify for the Tour Championship.
